How much does an IV drip cost in Istanbul?

5 min read

Ask five IV drip services in Istanbul for a price and you can get five very different answers. Some numbers look cheap until the extras arrive. Others look high but include everything. This guide explains what really changes the price, shows our own price list in full, and walks through real examples, so you know what you will pay before anyone knocks on your door.

What actually changes the price

An IV drip is a bag of sterile fluid with vitamins, minerals or medicine added, given through a small cannula in your arm. The bag itself is not the expensive part. Most of the price is people, time and travel.

  • Who gives it: a licensed nurse, plus a doctor who reviews your health information first. This is the part you should never try to save on.
  • Where: a clinic visit means you travel; a hotel or Airbnb visit means the nurse travels across Istanbul traffic to you.
  • What is in the bag: a basic hydration drip costs less than a long NAD+ session that takes two to three hours.
  • Extras: add-ons like anti-nausea medicine or glutathione, a visit fee, and a surcharge for night visits.
  • How many people: one nurse visit for four friends costs the service much less per person than four separate visits.

Our price list, all of it

We keep it short and public. All prices are per person in euros and include the drip, the nurse and all sterile equipment. Our drips start at €149. A few examples: Jet Lag Reset €149, Myers' Classic €159, Hangover Rescue €169, and NAD+ from €390, because that session is much longer.

On top of the drip there are only three possible extras:

  • Visit fee: €25 per visit, not per person. It is free when 2 or more people book together.
  • Night visit: €40 extra per visit between 00:00 and 07:00.
  • Add-ons: from €25 to €49 each, or any 3 for €69.

Real examples, with the math

Prices are easier to understand with real situations. Here is what four common bookings cost with our list.

  • Solo traveller, jet lag, afternoon: €149 + €25 visit fee = €174 in total.
  • Two friends, Hangover Rescue, late morning: 2 × €169 = €338. The visit is free because you are two, so it is €169 each.
  • Solo, Hangover Rescue at 3 am with anti-nausea: €169 + €35 + €25 visit + €40 night = €269.
  • Four friends, Myers' Classic plus glutathione, anti-nausea and extra vitamin C each: those three add-ons would be €113, but any 3 cost €69. So 4 × (€159 + €69) = €912, visit free, €228 per person.

Hotel visit vs. going to a clinic

A clinic can sometimes be a little cheaper per drip, because the nurse does not travel. But you have to get there, maybe feeling sick, maybe in a taxi across the city, and you sit in a waiting room. For a hangover, food poisoning or jet lag, that trip is often the hardest part.

A home or hotel visit costs a travel fee, but you stay in bed, and you can share one visit with friends. For two or more people, the visit fee disappears with us, so the gap to a clinic gets very small or goes away.

How to spot hidden costs

When you compare offers in Istanbul, a low headline price is not always the low final price. Before you book anywhere, ask these questions on WhatsApp and get the answers in writing:

  • Is the price per person, and is the nurse included?
  • Is there a visit, travel or call-out fee? Is it per person or per visit?
  • Is there a night, weekend or holiday surcharge?
  • Is the anti-nausea medicine or any vitamin an add-on with its own price?
  • Is the price in euros, lira or dollars, and can I pay by card?
  • What happens if I cancel?

Ways to pay less (without cutting corners)

The easiest saving is to book with someone else. From two people the €25 visit fee is gone, and one nurse can set up several drips at once. Book in the day if you can, since night visits cost €40 more. If you want add-ons, pick three and the deal brings them to €69. And choose the drip you need: a simple hydration drip often does the job, you do not need the most expensive bag.

What you should not save on: a health check before the drip, a licensed nurse and sterile, single-use equipment. A very cheap offer that skips these is not a good deal.

How the final price is confirmed

With Drip Istanbul, you message us on WhatsApp with your location, the number of people and the drip you want. We send back the total, and it is confirmed before the nurse sets off. You pay by card or cash at the visit. You can also use the drip builder on our prices page to see the total yourself before you write to us.

General information, not medical advice. An IV drip supports hydration and wellbeing; it does not cure illness. If you have a medical condition, ask a doctor first. In an emergency in Turkey, call 112.

Quick questions

  • Our drips start at €149 per person. Add the €25 visit fee if you book alone; with 2 or more people the visit is free.

  • No. It is €25 per visit, however many people are in the room, and it is free when 2 or more people book together.

  • The drip prices stay the same. Between 00:00 and 07:00 we add €40 per visit.

  • Not for what you booked. The total is confirmed on WhatsApp before the nurse sets off. It only changes if you decide to add something during the visit.
